A Great Hotel for a Mexican Get-a-Way
“My friend and I spent some time here in November 2024 and loved it.
There is a large outdoor, shared space that is so inviting and cool throughout the day when the sun is the hottest, but only meters from the ocean if you need to go for a quick dip to cool down or if you want a more refreshing dip, the Italian tiled pool is right there too. It has an outdoor shared kitchen which we loved (although there was no one to share it with). The owner was around if needed but we really felt we had the place to ourselves. He was very gracious; brought us a huge bag of ice, sliced up fresh coconuts from the trees on the property, made sure we weren’t in need of anything and shared some great dining-out recommendations. The town is a short walk along the beach and the people of this town are really lovely and friendly. You can get any groceries you need from the three or four shops so you don’t need to bring anything from Zihua. Lots and lots of restaurants to choose from within walking distance as well. I would definitely come back to this hotel!”

Thank you very much, this place is amazing, the sea is in front of this place and the local places where you can go to eat are too near. It is an excellent option if you want to go to the beach without a crowded population.

We have been coming to Casa de la Luna for close to 9 years. We love everything about it most of all that it is right on the beach. The kitchen is fully equipped to cook any meal you want, shopping is a short walk down the beach where you can buy fresh seafood or visit one of the many restaurants that are right on the beach. The patio area has everything you need to relax, dine, swim or sunbath. We can’t wait to go back. David is a friendly helpful host and a great new addition to La Luna.
